Liverpool have confirmed the signings of defenders Tiago Ilori from Sporting Lisbon and Mamadou Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain.
Both players watched Sunday's 1-0 Barclays Premier League win over Manchester United from the directors' box at Anfield and penned their deals after undergoing a medicals at the club's Melwood training ground.
Ilori, who was born in London, has represented Portugal at U18, U19 and U20 level
Ilori and Sakho become Brendan Rodgers' sixth and seventh summer acquisitions following Kolo Toure, Iago Aspas, Luis Alberto, Simon Mignolet and Aly Cissokho.
Ilori told www.liverpoolfc.com: 'It feels great being a Liverpool player - coming to the Premier League has always been a dream for me.
'I'm going to try to achieve everything I can. I want to play as much as possible and we'll see what the future holds. I will give my all and try my best to help the team.
'I know the history of the club and the Premier League is the best league in the world, in my opinion.
'I used to watch Jamie Carragher play as a young boy and I would have loved to have had the chance to train and play with him. I'd also like to one day maybe fill his place, too.
'Liverpool, have a great team and I think it's the place for me to be at the moment.'

Chelsea forward Victor Moses
Liverpool have also signed Chelsea forward Victor Moses on loan for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old former Crystal Palace and Wigan player links up with central defenders Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori, who have joined Liverpool for a combined fee of about £25m, at Anfield.
"The target is to get into the top four and for the club to compete in the Champions League," said Moses.
"I just want to gel in, the formation and players here will help me."
